!vaccinated!

Preparations are in full swing!

This included a visit to the Basel Tropical Institute.

We actually went there three times, Rahel with the children twice and I once for a consultation.

But I got 3 vaccinations in the same arm at my only appointment, ouch!

After three days with a sore arm, I caught a bad cold and almost lost my voice! At work, patients who were much older asked me to speak a little louder. Well, it wasn't just because of the surgical face mask that my messages weren't understandable!-D

In comparison, the children coped well with the vaccinations, as they accepted the two needle pricks without batting an eyelid.

Now we are prepared, who knows, even for trips into the jungle against yellow fever.

Equipped as well as protected and the wallet (the purse) has also lost some weight, uff!
